I've been using FreeMind for a few years now. This program is a mind mapping application that requires Java to function. Use it to develop concepts by yourself or in a group.

It's fast and easy to learn and use, and thanks to an idea from a friend, I've used it to present complex topics in a way that unfolds the story of related concepts in manner that's engaging and stimulating for listeners.
